JOHN SWAIN

John has worked with Capital Cranfield Trustees since 2007. John represents Capital Cranfield as Chairman of Trustees, member of a Board of Trustees and as a sole corporate trustee to schemes with assets up to £85m.

He began his career at Eagle Star Insurance Company and - via roles at Bowring and Layborn and Mercer - spent over 20 years at SBJ Benefit Consultants Ltd, where he was an Executive Director. There he had responsibility for risk benefit activity and group consultancy covering working practices and standards, training and allocation of clients. His extensive experience covers all group scheme types - defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid.
