John joined CCTL in early 2007 bringing pensions experience spanning 40 years.

He began his career at Eagle Star Insurance Company and - via roles at Bowring & Layborne and Mercer's - spent over 20 years at SBJ Benefit Consultants Ltd, where he was an Executive Director. There he had responsibility for risk benefit activity and group consultancy covering working practices and standards, training and allocation of clients. His extensive experience covers all group scheme types - defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid.
